Barcode printers can be offered with printing technologies – thermal direct and thermal transfer.
Thermal direct printing uses chemically coated paper that changes color when heat is applied to it with the printhead. This is how the information on the label is printed in black.
Thermal transfer printing technology does not rely on a chemical reaction on the paper, but uses a thermal transfer tape with a resin or wax material that transfers the ink to the label by applying heat from the print head, it is possible to print in one color – red, green, blue, black, etc. This seal is much more resistant in time and is not affected by weather conditions over time.
The 2-inch and 4-inch TH DH Series Desktop Barcode Printers are versatile and flexible for diverse printing requirements.
